As part of the Action for Skills – Professionalising the Skills for Life Workforce project, the Centre undertook initial research to establish SfL Teacher Training needs and providers offering SfL teacher training qualifications across Sussex, Surrey and Kent. At that time, the survey was limited to project partners. A year into the project, the Centre revisited this research in order to establish the impact of the project on SfL training needs. This time, the survey was not limited to project partners and other training organisations were invited to submit their responses. The research report and subsequent findings for Sussex, Surrey and Kent can be downloaded below. The Centre intends to continue work on this scoping exercise to provide details of need and offer to all relevant stakeholders and partners and is currently working with LSC Sussex to enable this activity. When further updates are available they will also be uploaded to the website. SfL Workforce Development Survey - final report (PDF format, 576Kb.) |

The tariff of legacy qualifications establishes how legacy initial teacher training and trainer training qualifications map to the new Equipping our Teachers for the Future requirements in England. The TLQ will eventually be in database form. Its function is to provide information which will help individuals, employers and ITTTE providers make decisions on appropriate pathways to the licensed status of ATLS or QTLS.
