ESOL Numeracy: A Case Study

There is a huge emphasis, nationally, on improving learners' numeracy skills. Skills for Life providers are engaged with learners from many different backgrounds in order to achieve their targets.

ESOL Numeracy: A Case Study shares the experiences of one such provider, Sussex Downs College. They delivered a pilot project teaching Numeracy to 65 full time ESOL students. The students were taught by five different members of the Numeracy team, two of whom had ESOL/EFL experience. They were supported initially by their ESOL colleagues in a team-teaching situation.
