Welcome to the Practical Guidelines for embedding Skills for Life into vocational programmes.

The guidelines are intended for use by managers, teachers and trainers in the further education sector who wish to embed Skills for Life or key skills into the vocational curriculum. Although designed for use with vocational programmes, the guidelines are equally applicable to academic or work based provision.

On this site you will find the online version of the guidelines, details about the project and additional supporting information.

The guidelines are the result of a research project undertaken by the Skills for Life Development Centre in Sussex with support and funding from the Learning and Skills Council.
