Phase 4: Evaluation

Evaluation of the embedded programme is a continuous process forming a key part of the quality monitoring and planning cycle. Its purpose is to conclude the quality monitoring procedure for a particular programme, identify the strengths and weaknesses of embedding to inform future planning and support the case for further embedding in the organisation.

Feedback should be reviewed from learners, the teaching team, employers and other stakeholders and all issues responded to quickly.

Evaluation results may indicate review of the programme for future cohorts, introduction of further differentiated activity and further key input from the functional skills adviser or other coaches and mentors.
